These soft salmon fish cakes are packed with protein, healthy fats, and gentle flavours perfect for toddlers. They’re easy to hold, making them ideal for little hands and self-feeding.

Ingredients

  • 1 small salmon fillet (boneless, skin removed)

  • 1 small potato (peeled and chopped)

  • 1 small carrot (peeled and grated)

  • 1 egg

  • 1 tbsp butter or oil (for cooking)

  • Pinch of garlic powder (optional)

Directions

  • Boil the potato and carrot until soft, then mash together in a bowl.
  • Cook the salmon (steam or pan-cook), flake it and remove any bones.
  • Mix salmon, mashed veggies, egg, and garlic powder until combined.
  • Shape into small patties and pan-fry in butter or oil until golden on both sides.
